Mental illness does not discriminate, it is not a choice, and it is rampant among teenagers. The Cameron K. Gallagher Foundation is a beacon of hope for those who are affected by teenage mental illness. We help empower teens and their families to proactively take care of their mental health, and to seek help when they need it.

Help begins when we SpeakUp. Start the conversation.

We offer Free Mental Health programs to teenagers of all socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds because mental illness does not discriminate. 1 out of every 5 teens suffers from mental illness, but everyone has mental health. Our prevention-based programs are designed to help teenagers develop healthy habits to deal with the stress of everyday life.

Cameron's Story

Cameron Gallagher was a beautiful teenager who started a revolution that changed the way we address mental illness. The world was a better place because Cameron lived in it, but the world is an even better place because of her legacy.

Fun. Friendly. Family.

Cameron's signature race series aims to raise awareness about mental health, and leave a lasting impact on the local communities we serve. Participants come together to show their support for those fighting the ongoing battle with mental illness, and to take a stand to end the stigma in a festive, family-friendly atmosphere.

SpeakUp Stories: The voices of our teens

"I know that depression stole my best friend from me, stole memories that were going to be made, it stole a future that was so bright, she couldn’t even see it herself. And I know that it took these from all of its victims and the people around them." -Lacey McRoberts, Survivor
