Missy Minton

Missy is a native of Richmond and graduated from Mills E. Godwin High School and received her Bachelors’ Degree from Longwood University. Missy has dedicated the last 16 years to serving the nonprofit sector. Highlights include Director of Development and Special Events for Junior Achievement of Central Virginia, Director of Development and Public Relations for The Ward Home for Children (Pittsburgh, PA), Deputy Director of Resource Development for the Historic Polegreen Church Foundation and most recently as Director of Administration for the E.J. Wade Foundation.  

Missy has served as the owner of Missy Minton Consulting for the past eight years, providing grant writing and financial support for nonprofit organizations. Missy met the Gallagher family at Cameron’s initial launch party in May of 2014 and instantly knew she wanted to help the family make Cameron’s vision a reality.  

Outside of work, Missy serves as a volunteer at Mechanicsville Christian Center, room parent at her daughter’s school and as Treasurer of the PTA. She has been married to her best friend, Chris, for 11 years and together they share the best job duties of all – being parents to three daughters; Olivia, Sydney and Avery.
