WHO LEADS THE SESSIONS?
Led by a member of the CKG Foundation's professionally trained Mindfulness Team currently engaged in attaining full certification of Jon Kabat-Zinn's Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT?
The sessions are primarily held at the Steward School's Bryan Innovation Lab in a calm, quiet space. We provide yoga mats to lie on, or you may sit in a chair if you prefer. Our coaches will begin by
talking about the benefits of mindfulness and then will guide you through mindfulness exercises. Because mindfulness is a personal activity, don't worry if you don't know anyone else there!
WHO CAN COME?
All high school and middle school aged teens are welcome for this FREE program! You may come with a friend or by yourself, but please make sure you sign up! We hope that you will leave having met a group of encouraging peers.
WHAT SHOULD I BRING?
We provide yoga mats to lie on, however, you may bring your own if you like. Comfortable clothing is suggested to help you relax and focus!
