Pro-Am Kart Race
Benefitting CKG and Teen Mental Health
Fast Karts. Pro Drivers. Tons of Fun for a GREAT cause.

Karting4CKG supports the Cameron K. Gallagher (CKG) Foundation and teen mental health. The event takes place on the Thursday before the MICHELIN GT CHALLENGE. Professional drivers pair with amateurs to compete for the fastest combined time around the world famous kart track at VIR in Danville, Virginia. The VIR Kart Track is a state-of-the-art 5/8 mile, 24-foot-wide paved circuit. The karts run ungoverned Honda GX 270cc motors capable of speeds in excess of 50 mph, the fastest speeds you’ll find for go-karts anywhere.
This is a competitive, inspiring, and fun event.
Professional drivers start their race weekend by donating their time to amplify the importance of prioritizing mental health and providing educational resources for all.
A novel idea in 2021 from a friend, board member and car enthusiast resulted in big impact from big names for the Cameron K. Gallagher Foundation and teen mental health. This event has raised over $380,000 to date and we are proud of how this enables us to reach more and more teens.
