About Us
Stratton Mountain Meets Mount Everest
Climbing for Teen Mental Health
Elevation 29,029 feet
Fundraising Goal = $29,029
Cameron dreamed of a world where no one whispered about depression, anxiety, or mental health struggles. She believed that vulnerability was strength, that conversations could save lives, and that no one should ever feel alone in their pain. Her vision became the foundation of CKG, and today that mission continues to guide everything we do.
As we prepare for this challenge, we are reminded that mountains come in many forms. For many, the climb looks like getting out of bed when anxiety feels overwhelming, walking into school when they feel disconnected, asking for help when they are struggling, or simply finding the courage to keep going one more day. Every step we take up the mountain will be dedicated to the young people who are navigating their own challenges and to the families who love them. It will be a reminder that while the path may be steep, none of us are meant to climb alone.
Your support of this climb is more than a donation. It is a statement that teen mental health matters. It is an investment in a life. It is a way of telling a young person, "We see you. We care about you. And you are not alone." Your support helps us provide mental health education, coping skills, community programs, and most importantly hope for teens and families. Together, we can help teens build resilience, find connection, and know that their story matters. As Cameron often reminded us through her life and her mission, one conversation can change a life.
Thank you for helping us climb higher, reach farther, and continue building a world where every person knows their story matters and their life has immeasurable value.
For Cameron. For hope. For every teen still climbing — Let's Finish This!
Climbing a mountain is strikingly similar to the journey of maintaining mental health. Both require resilience, perseverance, and the ability to navigate challenging terrain. In the same way that ascending a mountain involves facing steep slopes and unpredictable weather, managing mental health involves confronting life's obstacles and uncertainties.
The ascent mirrors the process of overcoming mental health struggles, with each step symbolizing progress towards a healthier state of mind. As we climb, we will rely on each other for support. Just like when we face struggles in life we must rely on support. No one should ever walk alone.
The summit represents mental well-being, and the climb represents the importance of self-care, introspection, and the gradual, persistent effort needed to reach a place of stability and resilience.
Both journeys, whether up a mountain or towards mental health, emphasize the transformative power of facing challenges head-on and emerging stronger on the other side.
Meet the Climbers
Support the Dream
Like Cameron, Team Stratton Mountain dreams of a world without mental health stigma where teens know they are not alone and open, supportive conversations happen everywhere. The funds raised during this journey will be put into initiatives that promote awareness, provide resources, and offer support to teenagers grappling with depression and anxiety. The CKG Foundation will grow their SpeakUp Clubs and empower teens to access tools they already possess, normalize mental health conversations, and let them all know they never have to walk alone.
